As part of the club’s ambitious digital transformation process, Valencia CF are taking another step forward to improve the fan experience. From this Monday, a new era begins at the Mestalla Store, with the implementation of a cashless system in conjunction with Premium Partner Caixabank. The system will also be present at the VCF Megastore and at Mestalla when authorities authorise their reopening, with the aim to make these completely cashless in the short term.
The club policy is to reduce the number of cash payments at their facilities. Payments can now be made via smartphone, smartwatch or debit/credit card. The system, for which equipment has been modified alongside Caixabank, will reduce waiting time and queues for fans, benefitting everyone in the process.
The club have made a strong commitment to be at the cutting edge of technology, rapidly adapting their facilities to new consumption habits. Since February fans have been able to purchase food and drink from their seats at Mestalla through the VCF Seat Delivery App, a service that will be available again when the stadium reopens to the public.
This is a digital service more focused on the fan experience, following the launch of the new official website (recipient of a Webby Award), the Valencia CF Official App and Centenary App, the e-Commerce platform and Seat Delivery App. Further projects are being developed to make the fan experience unique and differential.
