Mikel Crespo, new coach of VCF Femenino
The Basque coach brings experience in women's football in Spain, having guided Deportivo Alavés to promotion to the top tier during the 2020-21 season
VCF Femenino and IMEDUCV, the High Performance Sports Medicine Unit, have reached an agreement for the latter to become Official Medical Provider for the club during the 2020/21 and 2021/22 seasons. The unit will be available to players for their health and recovery.
IMEDUCV offers the most advanced treatments for injury prevention and recovery, as well as optimising sporting performance.
The unit is part of the alliance between IMED Hospitales and the Universidad Católica de Valencia (UCV). This service aims to offer integral, specialised Sports Medicine, combining innovation in healthcare management with the most advanced technology and the best team of specialists.
It is situated at the Hospital IMED Valencia, in a 600m2 space at athletes’ disposal. Cutting Edge equipment provides the most advanced treatments, such as oxygen therapy and hyperbaric medicine, Alter-G anti-gravity, HP Cosmos Saturn for strength tests and a densitometry machine for the entire body.
