Thai Valencia CF Esports team finish runners-up in RoV Pro League
VCF eSports went international in 2021 within its expansion, reaching the main eSports markets in the world such as Asia. The arrival of Valencia CF in Thailand has the objective of competing in one of the biggest eSports tournaments in the world, and they took part in this year’s ROV Pro League in Thailand. Held at the Bitec Bangna in Bangkok with more than 30,000 fans in attendance, the competition saw the team finish runners up in Arena of Valor.

The team made some changes to the roster prior to the start of the tournament: Deboom replaced TAOz and Pichu went from ADL to Support.
In the group stage round, VCF won 9 games and lost 7, earning them 9 points and securing them a spot in the championship round in the lower bracket. With a game difference of 36-28, the team performed well and made it to the championship round alongside BACON TIME, BURIRAM UNITED ESPORTS, and eArena. The championship round was hosted at BITEC BANGNA from 1-2 April 2023.

In the lower bracket, VCF faced off against eArena and won with a score of 4-2. They then went on to defeat BURIRAM UNITED ESPORTS by a score of 4-0 to qualify for the grand final.
In it, VCF faced off against BACON TIME. The team put up a valiant effort, but ultimately lost 2-4.

The team's performance in the tournament earned them a 2nd place finish and a prize of 1.8 million Thai baht.
More than two million people followed the final live, consolidating the championship as one of the largest eSports tournaments in the world.
