Match Report: VCF Femenino go down battling (1-2)

The away side came out exerting a stifling pressure on VCF Femenino in the early stages of the game. VCF Femenino tried to counter it. The away side enjoyed much of the possession but producing little in the way of danger.
Over the quarter-hour mark, Candela broke the deadlock firing home a powerful follow-up drive past Noelia Ramos after an Esther free-kick delivery. Sevilla FC came close to equalising through Inma Gabarro on 21 minutes but her shot went a whisker wide of the left-hand post.

Carla Bautista almost snatched a late draw on the 88th minute when she tried to guide the ball past Noelia Ramos on the stretch but the Sevilla FC keeper denied her the equaliser, the full-time whistle was blown and VCF Femenino went down battling by 1-2 scoreline.
